Borgo Two-Tier Cylindrical Nightstand | Round Walnut Drum Bedside Table with Cream Inset Top - EKAR FURNITURE
Bedside furniture is usually boxy, and the Borgo Two-Tier Cylindrical Nightstand by EKAR FURNITURE takes a deliberately different shape. The whole body is a dark espresso walnut drum, built as two stacked round sections divided by a recessed shadow gap, and the top is a soft cream inset surface ringed by a rounded dark edge, so the piece reads as one smooth, soft sculpture rather than a cabinet on legs. As a premier high-end furniture customization factory, we have shaped this nightstand for clients who want a bedside piece that feels calm and rounded rather than angular, crafted in our renowned Foshan furniture factory.
The two-tier, stacked-drum silhouette is the defining idea of the Borgo, and it gives the piece a sense of softness that a single flat box would not have. The upper section and the lower section are the same width, and the recessed gap between them creates a thin, dark shadow line that keeps the two tiers clearly separated, so the table reads as two gentle curves stacked one on top of the other rather than one tall plain cylinder. The front of each tier is softly faceted, a subtle curve that catches the light along its edges, and because there are no handles, knobs, or visible hardware on the face of the piece, the front stays completely clean, and the drawers open with a simple push or lift rather than a hand on a pull. That clean, hardware-free face is what keeps the whole table feeling composed and quiet.
The cream inset top is the finishing note, and it is a deliberate contrast to the dark walnut body below. The surface is a soft, pale cream tone that sits inside a rounded dark rim, so the top reads as a gentle, contained well rather than a plain flat board, and that recessed edge helps keep a glass or a small book from rolling toward the centre of the table. The warm light colour of the top also breaks up the dark body of the piece, so the table reads as layered and composed rather than heavy, and the contrast of the pale top against the espresso walnut is what gives the Borgo its calm, high-end look. It is this kind of considered custom furniture detailing, one colour change that makes a piece feel lighter and easier to live with, that keeps the Borgo looking designed rather than assembled.
In the room, the nightstand works at the bedside, where the two tiers hold the small nightly things and the deeper daily clutter a bedroom collects, or it moves into the living room as a compact round accent stand, into an entry as a small drop table, or into a boutique hotel room as a closed, quietly luxurious bedside element. The rounded footprint keeps it easy to place close to the bed without sharp corners reaching into the walkway, and the dark walnut tone pairs easily with both warmer and cooler bedroom palettes, where it reads as a calm, grounding note next to a lighter bed or a darker scheme. As a leading provider of export furniture, EKAR has engineered this nightstand with a reinforced solid-wood body, smooth long-run drawer hardware, and a finish built to resist the small daily marks of bedside use. Our global reputation is anchored by the high standards of our Foshan export furniture factory, with profound and sustained demand within the India import furniture sector, where clients in Mumbai and New Delhi seek complete modern bedroom collections with rounded, sculptural bedside pieces for luxury apartments, villas, and boutique hospitality.
Choosing EKAR means tapping into the comprehensive resources of a premier Foshan custom furniture factory that prioritizes bespoke character and technical integrity over mass production.
