Nero Black Cylindrical Nightstand | Round Three-Drawer Bedside Cabinet with Leather-Wrapped Handles - EKAR FURNITURE
Most bedside tables reach for a warm wood tone, and the Nero Black Cylindrical Nightstand by EKAR FURNITURE takes the opposite direction, giving the bedside a calm, dark, sculpted form that holds its ground next to almost any bed. The body is a rounded drum finished in a deep, even black, the top is set inside a recessed ring that gives the surface a soft, contained edge, and the three curved drawers below are dressed with bar handles wrapped in black leather and capped in brass at each end. As a premier high-end furniture customization factory, we have shaped this nightstand for clients who want a bedside piece that feels composed and quietly confident rather than decorative, crafted in our renowned Foshan furniture factory.
The cylindrical silhouette is the defining idea of the Nero, and it does more for the room than a boxy cabinet would. The rounded body keeps the bedside area open and soft, so the table reads as a sculpted presence rather than a stored block, and the dark finish keeps the piece visually light despite its full drum shape. The top is set into a recessed ring, a thin, raised rim that frames the surface and gives the top a contained, tailored edge, so a lamp, a glass, or a small book sits neatly inside the line of the table instead of crowding the edge. The three drawer fronts follow the same curve as the body, so the front of the drum reads as one continuous, gentle arc interrupted only by the seams between the drawers, and that uninterrupted curve is what gives the whole piece its composed, high-end look.
The handles are where the design earns its character. Each is a slim horizontal bar wrapped in black leather, with a small brass cap at each end, so the handle reads as a soft, tactile element against the hard, dark face of the drawer, and the brass ends add a single, controlled warm note that keeps the all-black piece from feeling cold. Because the leather is a real, soft material, the handles are comfortable to grip, which is exactly what a bedside drawer needs, and because they are set low on the curved front, they are easy to find in the dark without hunting for a knob. It is this kind of considered custom furniture detail, one material change that makes a piece easier and more pleasant to live with, that separates the Nero from a spec-sheet cabinet.
In the room, the nightstand works at the bedside, where the three drawers hold the small nightly things and the deeper daily clutter a bedroom collects, or it moves into the living room as a compact, closed-front accent cabinet, into an entry as a slim drop piece, or into a boutique hotel room as a dark, quietly luxurious storage element. The rounded footprint keeps it easy to place close to the bed without sharp corners reaching into the walkway, and the matte black finish pairs easily with dark, moody bedrooms as well as brighter, lighter schemes, where it reads as a calm, grounding note. As a leading provider of export furniture, EKAR has engineered this nightstand with a reinforced solid-wood body, smooth long-run drawer hardware, and a finish built to resist the small daily marks of bedside use. Our global reputation is anchored by the high standards of our Foshan export furniture factory, with profound and sustained demand within the India import furniture sector, where clients in Mumbai and New Delhi seek complete modern bedroom collections with dark, sculptural bedside pieces for luxury apartments, villas, and boutique hospitality.
